The extended warranty only applies to the original end-use purchaser or the person receiving the product as a gift, and shall not apply to any other person or transferee.
Unless a different warranty period is stated in the owner’s Guide in the product, for a period of 24-month from the retail purchase date by the original end-use purchaser, we warrant that this product from an authorized reseller, delivered to you in new condition in original packaging, and used in normal conditions, is free from any defects in manufacturing, materials and workmanship.
This warranty does not apply to the defects by improper or unreasonable use; failure to follow operating instructions; accident; excess moisture; insects; lightning; power surges; connections to improper voltage supply; unauthorized alteration or modification of original condition; damages caused by inadequate packing or shipping procedures; loss of, damage to or corruption of stored data; damages caused by use with non-TerraMaster products; product that requires modification or adaptation to enable in any country other than the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or repair of products damaged by these modifications; and products purchased from unauthorized dealers.
We will, at our sole option, repair or replace (using new or refurbished replacement parts) any defective parts within a reasonable period of time and free of charge during the warranty period.
We will not cover any cost related to shipping, insurance or transportation from you to us, or any import fees, duties and taxes.
To obtain limited warranty service, you should return the product, with proof of purchase from an authorized TerraMaster reseller, and follow the procedures below:
Contact the TerraMaster organization in your country/region (visit www.TerraMaster.com for contact details) for specific return and shipping instructions;
Label and return the product with freight prepaid to the address provided by TerraMaster organization in your country/region; and
Place any necessary return authorization number prominently on the outside of the carton. Cartons without a return authorization number, where required, will be refused.
