Does model D2-310/D4-310/D5-300/D5-300C use a software or hardware RAID?

It uses a hardware RAID. With the exception of model D5-300/F4-300, no software is needed to help create RAIDs for these models. TerraMaster provides a free RAID Manager as standard.
