What should I do if I cannot create a RAID on the TerraMaster D2 Thunderbolt 3?

Applicable models: TD2-Thunderbolt 3 , D2-Thunderbolt 3. TD2-Thunderbolt 3 Plus

If RAID creation fails, or the HDD indicator remains red after RAID creation despite the HDD indicator lighting green and all HDDs displaying normally after installation of a hard drive in your TerraMaster device, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Install the hard drive into your device, keeping the device turned on and connected to your powered-on computer throughout, then turn the switch to "Single" mode;

Step 2: Press and hold "Reset" for about 5 seconds, until the hard drive indicator changes to red;

Step 3: The HDD indicator will automatically change to green after about 3 seconds, indicating that your previous RAID has been deleted and that the disk array now is in "Single" mode.

Step 4: Turn the switch to the RAID mode required;

Step 5: Press and hold "Reset" for about 5 seconds, until the hard drive indicator changes to red to green;

Step 6: The HDD indicator will change to green automatically after about 3 seconds, indicating that RAID creation is completed.
